Sprinting Across France
Big photo dump today (as you can see), internet has been spotty across the small towns that we’ve been rushing in to and out of so I apologize, but if you have a further issue please take it up with the people of France.
Our last week or so has been running (literally) from hotel to hotel and printing in the middle. Days go something like this: “Wake up” at about 4 or 5, hop in...
ByeCelona
On our way out. Ordino in a few hours. Leaving the hotel without sleeping. Again. :)
Always excited to get messages on the ground!
By the way, for those of you checking this out here, I’m also trying to be more real-timey on twitter.

Barcelona was nice. A grey day as I mentioned earlier. Haven’t seen a day like that since I left pgh. Headed up into the...
Barcelona
My years long dream of coming to Barcelona while listening to the Rentals’ “Barcelona” has come true!
The city is beautiful. very urban. Raining today, much to get done.
Printing at the Nike store this evening, and then again on the Tour at 5am. Sheesh.
More later, very busy on the ground here.
To Perpignan!
On the road now!
Stopped at a rest area and ate some rotisserie chicken lays. I’m not kidding. They tasted like stove top stuffing.
We may not be printing tomorow as planned. The stages are approved by various people not by one ruling body so the plans change rapidly.
More to come!
Not couting days anymore
Today Adam and i finalized fonts. Then we cabbed it out to the middle of nowhere with Royale’s with Cheese for the botboys and did a queue run.
It was marvelous.
Printed a big livestrong logo, several actual messages, and some other test patterns, and it was perfect. The road cleaning crew was there with a pressure washer and yes, in fact the paint does come off. Had dinner with the Nike...
Streaky Bacon
This is what they label “Bacon” as at the breakfast buffet.
That is all.
Day 2
My french is getting a little better.
Adam and I spend the day doing font work, while Greg and Aaron put chalkbot back together. Mark showed up at about 12:30 local time and went with marcelino to pick up stuff we needed.
We ate dinner at a restaurant with Moules (were good not great) and then walked around… a lot.
Mark, Marce and I ended up at a pub near our hotel after walking all over...
Day 1
Internet in Nice is hard to come by and also expensive. Hopefully Ill figure something out soon.
Arrived 2 hours late. Waited for luggage for another hour. Took a taxi to hotel. My very basic french has been coming in sort of handy. i can order coffee without being ignored.
We got to our hotel and briefly BRIEFLY slept. Then I wanted to explore a bit. Walked around a bit. Lois Vouitton store...

On plane.
The navigation computer is broken and they’re looking for a replacement. In other news I changed seats so a French couple could sit together. Goodbye middle. Bon jour window.
Ps. John McCain is a steward on this plane. I’ll try to get a pic.
JFK
Hard landing. Hostess says “please wait until what’s left of this plane to comes to a stop before standing” genius.
Caught a glimpse of NYC on the approach. Still love that city like no other.
Time for a layover.
Headed out Tomorrow
Packed-ish. Got a big European Tourist style backpack. I’m going to try to fit my life in it instead of the big suitcase. We will see…
